Our special girl Ivy is looking for her forever foster home. We know this is a tall order, but we won’t give up trying to find that special someone for our special girl. Her home and forever person has to be out there somewhere.
We are looking for a home with someone who
is more at home than out, as Ivy just loves company
has a good size room with a vinyl floor to help with cleanliness, (the possibility of adding on a catio for Ivy to have some safe outside time would be amazing but not essential)
is comfortable being shown how to help Ivy fully empty her bladder (it’s pretty easy with Ivy when you know how – our vets would provide support and training with that too)
will encourage her with her physio exercises while playing
Ivy would be a forever foster kitty with ongoing support from us for the rest of her life. She needs a bit more work with cleaning than your average cat but she is the most delightful, friendly, cuddly, playful girl who gives so much affection that the extra work is more than rewarded with a wonderful feline-human relationship.
Ivy is currently receiving physiotherapy from a professional, and her team of volunteers are doing their best to encourage her with stretching and strengthening her glutes to protect her back from further damage. This will need to be done as part of her play time every day to give her the best chance of a long life.
Ivy is such a cuddle bug that she really would need to be an only cat. She absolutely loves to be centre of attention and is a bit of a diva.
